Choosing the right bathtub or shower tray is about much more than the actual shape: how it feels against the skin, its anti-slip properties, or how easy it is to maintain or install are also decisive criteria. Duravit takes advantage of a wide range of materials to cater for individual requirements.

Sanitary acrylic

Sanitary acrylic is a lightweight material with a smooth, pore-free surface that the skin experiences as pleasant and warm. The material is colored throughout, UV-stable and colorfast. With its white sheen, sanitary acrylic is a perfect match for the white glaze of the ceramic objects in the bathroom. Their relatively low weight means that shower trays and bathtubs made from sanitary acrylic are robust, easy to install, and can also be cleaned with ease using standard household detergents.
Acrylic bathtubs come in a range of sizes: as a classic built-in version, for corner or back-to-wall installation or, as with Vero Air for example, freestanding with seamless paneling and - as a special extra - with an optional discreetly integrated air whirl system.

DuroCast Plus

The hi-tech material DuroCast Plus is robust, stable and is extra safe thanks to its class B slip-resistance. The exquisitely matt, velvety surface is warm and soft to the touch. Light marking can be removed using standard household detergents. Additionally, the material enables completely new design elements to be realized, e.g. crisp edges can be implemented and three-dimensional parts seamlessly combined. The Shower + Bath combination takes full advantage of the capabilities of DuroCast Plus: Both the bathtub body, plinth and paneling are made from the solid material. The functional versatility is a result of narrowly defined radii and a high level of precision in the finishing. Compact external dimensions enable space-efficient installation options and ensure that Shower + Bath can replace a conventional bathtub, even for bathroom renovations.


DuroCast UltraResist

The high-tech material for shower trays means that precise forms with the lowest possible manufacturing tolerances can be created. The matt surface looks and feels like natural stone. The slightly speckled surface adds to this natural look. DuroCast UltraResist is homogeneous with full-body coloring. It has a very hard surface and density, making it more resistant to damage. Marking can be easily removed using standard household detergents.
The surface structure of DuroCast UltraResist ensures additional safety in the bathroom with its class B slip-resistance. The precisely-formed shower trays are also self-supporting, which means that, with appropriate bracing, they can be installed without a frame. This applies regardless of whether the shower trays are installed flush with the floor, semi-recessed or on the floor tiles. The Stonetto shower-tray range offers a wide range of colors and is available in the stone shades White, Sand, Concrete, and Anthracite.
